Zenzero Bakery and Cafe is in Coppell, Texas, just north of Dallas at 171 N. Denton Tap Road, Suite 600. Please visit our contact page for driving directions, cafe hours and phone numbers.

Q: What kind of baked goods do you sell?

We sell many kinds of desserts and pastries—our list is endless—and can change daily. We have fresh daily offerings or you can order something custom-made especially for your event or occasion. For a taste of what we can do visit our “Just Baked” section on this website.

Q: Do you serve breakfast and lunch meals?

Yes, we do! To see what’s cooking today take a look at our menu.

Q: Do you serve coffee?

Absolutely. We have teamed up with a local roaster providing us fresh roasted beans weekly. We can prepare all types of coffees from latte to espresso and also serve chai. Try our dirty chai latte for something different. A chai (with steamed milk), laced with a shot of espresso.

Q: Do you take orders via email?

We currently do not take orders through email. However, Zenzero Bakery does accept orders over the phone and at the bakery, in person. Please visit our contact page for driving directions, cafe hours and phone numbers.

Q: How far in advance should I place my order?

We use no preservatives, so to maintain freshness we bake in small batches and only have small quantities available at the bakery daily. Quantities of more than 2 dozen cookies, muffins and cake balls/pops should be ordered 2-3 days in advance. You can call us or just drop by to see what we have freshly baked. Specialty cakes should be ordered 2-3 weeks before your event and for wedding cakes we prefer 3 months for planning and design. There are always exceptions to the rule, so please call us or drop by if you have any questions.

Q: Does your bakery have a WiFi hotspot?

Yes, we have complimentary high-speed wireless. Use your digital device while you enjoy a fresh pastry with a cup of our hand-crafted coffee. Chat with friends, check email and stay as long as you’d like. Have business to conduct? No problem, invite your associates to join you at Zenzero Bakery.

Q: Do you deliver or ship your baked products?

We do not ship cakes through the postal service or carrier. We can however, deliver large orders for catered events and tiered specialty cakes to an event location in the DFW Metroplex. Depending on how far your venue is from the bakery, there may be a delivery charge.

Q: We’re planning a wedding but have no idea what type of cake we want. Can you help us?

Yes. We offer design consultation and tastings. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible—at least three months in advance of your wedding date—to make an appointment. We will then give you details on what to bring for the consultation and tasting.

Q: Do you offer catering services?

We currently do not offer catering services. However, we do anticipate that we can provide this service in late fall 2012.

Q: What’s the difference between a traditional cake and a specialty cake?

Traditional cakes are typically double-layered cakes with frosting and have no designs. Specialty cakes are traditional cakes with designs, messages and scrollwork generally ordered for a special event like a birthday or going-away party. Wedding and groom’s cakes are for special events. However, because these are generally tiered cakes and require a great deal of customization, they are separated into their own category.

Q: Do you bake traditional whole cakes?

Yes, we have a selection of freshly baked, whole cakes in our bakery case every day. If you would like us to bake and reserve a specific cake for you, please give us a call and place an order. Please allow 48 hours to complete your order.

Q: How much are your specialty cakes?

Speciality cakes are priced according to the size & and the complexity of the design that you decide upon. We are happy to work within your event budget. Please visit our contact page for driving directions, cafe hours and phone numbers.

Q: Does your bakery have gluten-free, wheat-free, or vegan baked goods?

We regret that we do not offer these types of products. We do however, offer a small selection of flourless options.

Q: What kind of ingredients do you use?

We do our best to buy from Texas growers and local farmers markets whenever possible. We use high-quality natural ingredients and everything in the bakery is made from scratch.
